Catherine McCabe joined London Metropolitan University's Board of Governors in August 2018 where she is also a member of the University's Audit Committee.
Catherine is a passionate, hands-on retail IT leader with extensive experience of omni-channel technology and global expansion focused on eCommerce, point of sale (POS), customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain, business intelligence, payment and customer insight systems having led major transformation programmes in high-street retailers such as:

Cathy is the Co-Founder and CEO of Proximity Insight Ltd, a global software company that has developed an innovative clienteling tool to help brands to connect, inspire and nurture their customers through high-touch personalised communication services. Proximity Insight works with leading global brands including Matchesfashion, Selfridges, John Lewis & Partners and Shiseido.
