In 2011 we were awarded the highest accolade from the UK government’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), for our academic standards and learning opportunities.

More than two thirds of our research within the latest official Research Assessment Exercise was judged to be ‘internationally recognised’, ‘internationally excellent’ or ‘world leading’.
