Overview

The aim of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses is to develop both your academic and practical skills, so that you will achieve both clinical competence and graduate-level ability. Attracting students from a wide variety of backgrounds, the course will enable you to develop both subject-specific knowledge and the ability to relate it to the clinical situation. The course is accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists (SST) and provides a strong scientific basis from which the pathologies and management of sports injuries can be understood. On completion of the course, you will have the ability to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate sport injuries or dysfunction.

Student profiles

What our students say

'I really enjoyed my time at London Metropolitan University. I found the modules gave me the knowledge to successfully treat sports injuries and with the links from London Met I undertook placements at Millwall FC and the University Injury Clinic which gave me an insight into how the modules all came together for providing a successful treatment. The course prepared me well for work after university in the field of Sports Therapy and directly after Uni I began working for a football team and a sports injury clinic. I would highly recommend the course.' - Richard Luddington BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy, Cambridge
