(In) Memoriam reflects on the historical and contemporary experience of violence against women. The tourism built around Jack the Ripper is the starting point for a series of works that investigate the glamourisation of violence and invisibility of women.
This multi-media installation takes the subject from the personal to the political using performance, video and photography.
(In) Memoriam is presented by Ignite Art Collective: Ana Escobar, Ilenia Voleri, Natalie Koffman and Barbara Proshack.
