Volunteers are important to us at The Women's Library, and there are a number of ways that people help; from leading guided tours around the exhibition hall, to carrying out behind-the-scenes preservation work on the collections.

If no volunteering roles are available, we will keep your application form on file and contact you when a suitable position comes up. Please note that there are currently waiting lists for some departments, so if you are interested in volunteering for more than one department, please let us know on your form.

Internships for Trainee Archivists and Librarians

The Women's Library is able to provide a limited number of unpaid work placements each year for people undertaking professional training. See our internships page for more details.
