Support the story of women in the UK, now and in the future

Originally founded in 1926 by Millicent Fawcett and based in a converted Westminster pub, the Library has changed considerably over the years. Much, however, is still the same; the Library still records the stories and lives of women in the UK and is still a focal point for many campaigners, researchers and community groups.

What has changed is that we now actively promote the collections, host exhibitions and provide specialist resources for young people and schools groups. We want to ensure that The Women's Library continues to grow and to inform and influence the lives of future generations.

The Women's Library has an endowed fund which was established to support the Library in perpetuity. If you would like to make a gift to the Library, this is one of the most valuable ways you can contribute.

A donation form is available below for you to print off and send with your gift. Alternatively, if you would like to donate over the telephone, you can call 020 7320 2215 during office hours.
