'inexpert handling and the heat and light generated by machines are the primary causes of damage.  Using flat-bed copiers which force the book open to 180 degrees can be particularly damaging.' What can be photocopied? All robust books, pamphlets, periodicals and ephemera

  • Please show all materials you wish to photocopy to staff
  • Buy a photocopy card at reception.  Photocopy cards are £2.00 for 12 copies, £5.00 for 32 copies and £10.00 for 65 copies
  • Use the book support on the photocopier, which means you can only photocopy one page at a time

What cannot be photocopied? All fragile material, the majority of the materials in the archives, the Cavendish Bentinct and Josephine Butler Libraries.
