Visitors explore material relating to Greenham Common in The Women's Library Reading Room.

We are pleased to be able to offer enjoyable, informative group visits to The Women's Library, led by friendly volunteer guides, free of charge. Drop-in guided tours for individuals are also scheduled as part of our public programme. There is something for everyone here, and everybody, male and female, is welcome!
During your visit:
· Find out why a Women's Library exists at all. · Have a look at our of our current exhibitions All Work and Low Pay: The Story of Women and Work and Archival Tales: Uncovering Inter-war Black Histories. · Learn about what's in the largest collection of women's history materials in the country, and how you can use it yourself · Get a closer look at votes for women paraphernalia, women's magazines old and new, and feminist campaigning material from the 1970s and 80s from our newly-developed handling collections
Women's organisations, ESOL learners, professional bodies, local company staff, retired people's organisations and students of all ages and levels, as well as groups of friends and family have all enjoyed visits here in the past.
Booking information Group visits are by appointment and need to be booked with us in advance. Catering can be ordered for the comfort of your group.
