In my family as a child cleanliness was next to Godliness. Im now 50 but even back then, Mum made sure that myself and my brother had clean knickers, vest, socks, shirt every day, only our outer clothes were worn for more than one day as long as they hadnt got dirty or wet.

The very idea of being smelly was anathema. Unfortunately not everyone I went to school with was as clean, a lot of the boys then and even a few girls had a nasty niff.

I insured that my own son and daughter were equally clean and hygenic in their personal habits and taught them that it doesnt take a lot of effort to have a shower every morning and to change their knickers, socks, shirt and other intimate clothing every day. I feel it is a courtesy to other people and honour to yourself to be clean and wholesome.
