If you would like to use the Reading Room, we'll ask you to join the Library. To identify items relevant to your research, you can search our collections before your visit.

Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm
Thursday until 8.00pm
Saturday 10.00am - 4.00pm

Reading Room

Tuesday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.00pm
Thursday until 8.00pm
Saturday and Sunday - Closed
The Reading Room will be closed for an annual stocktake between Saturday 9 - Monday 18 June 2012.
The Women's Library is a non-smoking building.
Closed Periods
The Women's Library, as part of London Metropolitan University, closes for brief periods over the Easter and Christmas holidays, as well as on bank holidays.
Please note the Reading Room is not open on Saturdays or Mondays. The Women's Library is closed on Sundays.
If you are making a special visit to the Library or travelling a long distance at any time of the year, we recommend you contact us in advance to check any changes in opening hours. Please telephone us on 020 7320 2222.
