London Metropolitan University purchases Goods, Works and Services totalling £60 million a year from the private, public and voluntary sectors to meet corporate objectives and to provide high quality and cost effective services to its students and staff.

The Strategic Procurement Unit is available to provide advice and guidance to Professional Service and Academic Departments in sourcing and contracting. Our aim is to help you obtain best value for money from your budget, to give advice and guidance on the procurement process and how to abide by the University's Financial Regulations and applicable statutory European and UK Legislation.

We provide Tender and Request for Quotation (RfQ) documentation which is in line with best practice as well as a number of tools to help you with the project evaluation. If you need advice and guidance on the documentation then you should contact the Strategic Procurement Unit.

Strategic Procurement also provide a comprehensive contractor data base containing contract details on the University's contracted suppliers.
