Academic Board Elections 2011

ELECTIONS TO THE ACADEMIC BOARD - FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES

Nominations are required for the following category to serve on the Academic Board until 31 August 2014:

One member of the Teaching and Research staff elected by and from the Teaching and Research staff in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities

NOMINATIONS

The period for receipt of nominations will be from 12 noon on Tuesday 4 October 2011 to 5pm on Tuesday 11 October 2011.

Nomination Forms are available below and are also available from the Secretary’s Office, North Campus, Room AB1-20, Tower Building, Holloway Road. Ext: 2005/2126.

Completed Nomination Forms must be returned to, and received by, the Secretary’s Office, North Campus by 5pm on Tuesday 11 October 2011. Nomination Forms not properly completed will not be accepted.

Any person who subsequently decides to withdraw his/her nomination must inform the University Secretary in writing by 9am on Wednesday 12 October 2011.

VOTING

The period for voting will be from 12 noon Tuesday 12 October 2011 - 5pm Monday 17 October 2011.

All eligible members of staff on commencement of the voting process will receive an email from the University with details about how to vote.

Votes must be received by 5pm Monday 17 October 2011.

The results of the election will be notified by an all staff email on Thursday 18 October 2011.

All candidates and voters should note that the elections will be by single transferable vote.
