Class Descriptions

NEW for October 2011!! Aikido: Non-competitive Japanese martial art teaching self-defence and physical fitness, Aikido also develops mind and body coordination and confidence

Badminton: Meet new people, get fit and enjoy your badminton

Basketball: Mixed sessions. Improve your skills and have some fun

Boxfit: Circuit type exercise using boxing techniques. All the gain, but no pain!

Boxing: Learn self-defence; build strength & stamina; enhance hand-eye co-ordination; build self-confidence; increase muscle tone and de-stress!  No experience needed, everyone welcome.

Cheerleading: Work out with pom routines, chants, cheers, stunts and jumps! This class is a great way to get fit, have fun and learn a new skill.

Circuit training: Short timed bursts of vigorous activity to train your heart and tone the body

NEW!! Grappling: Grappling is a martial art, which includes mainly fighting on the ground for self defence. It is based on sambo, judo, freestyle wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In grappling, technical arsenal is more crucial than brute physical strength.  Grappling techniques include takedowns, throws, chokes, leg and arm locks, pins (hold downs), reversals, turnovers, and escapes. Any strikes, finger holds and eyes pressures are prohibited.

NEW for October 2011!! Judo:Judo in Japanese means “the gentle way,” and is known as such because many of the techniques in judo rely on giving way to the force of your opponent. Don’t be fooled, however, by the term “gentle.” Judo is an intense sport, a wonderful form of exercise, and can be adapted to serve as effective a powerful form of self-defence. Legs/Tums/Bums: A conditioning class that tones the three key body areas ready for bikini season!

NEW for October 2011!! Parkour: A discipline that deals with ways to get from one place to another. Parkour is non competitive. Skills such as vaulting, rolling, swinging and wall scaling are employed.

Pilates: Guaranteed strong abdominal and back muscles. Great for posture and stress relief

Tennis: Come along and get help from our coach!

Powercise - Circuit training using gym equipment such as bikes, treadmills and rowers.
