The following databases are some of the most useful for social work materials. Use them to find journal articles on a topic. Access, from inside and outside of the university, is via the university library catalogue, using your university network username and password. Alternatively you can use your library borrower number and PIN.
Some databases will provide the full text of journal articles, while others will provide references and/or abstracts.
Check the library catalogue to see if the journals containing articles you find in searches are available. Not all the items you find will be in stock, but you can order items through the Interlibrary Loan service via the catalogue. You can also use other university libraries.
To look at a full list of databases go to the Electronic Databases A-Z list on the library web pages.
