  • Baltic Exchange
    Collates and produces valuable market information. The Baltic Freight Index (BFI) is generated daily and is widely regarded as the international barometer of the Cape size and Panamax freight markets.     Provides education, library services, and financial support to professional seafarers. It also encourages and assists with hands-on training and the dissemination of information for those who may be considering a career at sea.

    Maritime Information Association promotes contact and co-operation between Librarians and Information Officers, and others working or having an interest in the maritime world. Developing a body of professional expertise relevant to the literature and information sources in maritime activities.
