  • Food Science and Technology Abstracts

    The FSTA database has records of scientific journal papers, patents, books, conference papers, reports, pamphlets and legislation relating to food science and technology.

    FSTA covers every aspect of food and nutritional science, including the biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology and toxicology of foods and beverages, the cereal, dairy and meat sciences, food production & agriculture, government policy and regulation, health & safety in the food industry, food packaging, and food technology and engineering.

    Science Citation Index Expanded (1970-)

    The Science Citation Index database has records of scholarly journal papers in all areas of science, including food science and technology.

    ISI Proceedings (1990-)

    The ISI Proceedings database has records of papers from the proceedings of international conferences, symposia, seminars, colloquia, workshops, and conventions in all areas of science, including food science and technology.

  • Pubmed Medline

    The Pubmed database has records of journal papers all aspects of life sciences, clinical medicine, health and related subjects, including food and nutritional sciences. Topics covered include food preferences, food poisoning, food analysis, food microbiology, dietary supplements, food and nutrition policy, food additives, food preservatives, food allergy, and food labelling.

    Direct access to Pubmed.

    No passwords are needed for access to the Pubmed database. There is direct on campus access to linked journal papers if the Library has the journal.
