E-Journals/Full-text Journals

If you know the title of a journal, search the library catalogue and link to the journal if it is available online. If you don’t know the titles of any journals in your subject area then the alternative is to search specific journal databases.

More about Ebsco Journals databases: once you login to the main databases, BSP or ASP you can use the option to cross search a number of related databases depending on your topic search. Above the search box click on the link called SEARCH DATABASES.

Abstracting and Indexing Databases

These services are useful for locating references to journal articles especially if you have problems locating information on full text journal databases.

About Abstracts: abstracts are short summaries of documents; they DO NOT contain full text documents.

Each abstract record includes a detailed and informative summary along with the full bibliographic data. If any item is of interest check the catalogue to see if we subscribe to the journal either in hard copy or online.
If the journal is not available in the library you can obtain it from the British Library by filling out the Interlibrary Loan form on the
library catalogue.
