  • SCONUL Access
    All students are able to join the scheme, which allows access to many other higher education libraries. Full-time undergraduates are allowed access to other libraries on a reference only basis; most part-time undergraduates and full-time postgraduate students are allowed borrowing privileges.     The British Library reference collections on the humanities, sciences and social sciences, and medicine and related subjects are at the St Pancras Reading Rooms. The British Library at St Pancras is a research library and the Reading Rooms are for reference only. Students and researchers are normally asked to demonstrate specific research requirements before being allowed a Reader's Pass, which can be requested in person on arrival, or in advance by post.     The National Archive Collections in the United Kingdom of British and overseas Newspapers.

    British Library Newspaper collections, which also include popular magazines and periodicals, are made available in hard copy, in microform, and on CD-ROM in the Newspaper Reading Rooms in Colindale, north west London. Subject to restrictions, facilities are available for the photocopying, microfilming, and photographic and film reproduction of items from the collections.
