• Bankscope
  Provides detailed reports of more than 30,000 banks across the globe containing ratings, ownership and news. You can research individual banks and find banks with specific profiles. Bankscope has up to 16 years of detailed accounts for each bank.
  
  
• Orbis
  Orbis is a global database containing financial information, including ratios, on public and private companies including banks. Orbis searches over one million private and public companies worldwide for balance sheets, income statements, mergers information and stock prices. You can compare companies and download graphs and charts.
  
  Orbis replaces the Amadeus database. We are now subscribing to Orbis instead of Amadeus because it provides information on companies worldwide rather than only in Europe.

  The AdForum database contains information on over 20,000 advertising agencies and 90,000 ads (TV, print, interactive, etc.) from around the world (over 100 countries are represented in the database).

• Sage Journals Online
  You can search for articles across all Sage online journals, but access to full text is only available for articles from journals subscribed to by the library. You can access such journals as National Institute Economic Review, Public Finance Review. See what's available by clicking on the "Sage contents available to me" button.
  
  
• Science Direct
  Despite the name, this database has a large number of journals in abstract and full-text, which are useful for Business.
  
  
• SwetsWise
  Journals on this site include: Economic Affairs, Modern Law Review, plus many more.
  
  
• Word Bank e-Library
  This is an electronic portal to the World Bank's full-text collection of final, peer-reviewed versions of books, reports, journal articles and working papers. It brings together, in a fully-indexed and cross-searchable database, and in PDF format, over 6000 titles published by the World Bank since 2000, as well as every new title as it becomes available in print. Good place to start if you cannot find what you need on the full-text journals databases. If any item is of interest check the catalogue to see if we subscribe to the journal either in hard copy or online.

If any journal containing an article of interest is not available in the library then you can obtain the specific article from the British Library by filling out the Interlibrary Loan form on the library catalogue.

• Datastream and Bloomberg (Available only in Moorgate Library)
  Two major industry-level sources of current and historical global data on accounting, banking, financial markets, economic indicators, company information and news. Datastream data can be downloaded, manipulated and exported into spreadsheets for graphs and charts.
