E-books

E-books on computing are now available from the multidisciplinary databases MyiLibrary and Dawsonera, as well as Safari Tech Books Online. You will need your University network username and password to access them. You can view a full list of e-books on the library catalogue by doing an advanced keyword search, typing an asterisk * and selecting "Ebooks" as the material type.

Safari Tech Books Online

Safari Tech Books Online is a supplier of full-text e-books in the field of computer science. It is possible to search the full text of the entire collection or just "My Safari" (titles the library subscribes to). From your search results you are able to see previews of text containing your search terms. You will only be able to read all of the text and browse through all sections of those titles that the library currently subscribes to. To see a full list of subscribed Safari titles once you are in the database click on "My Safari". Alternatively, click here.

You can access this database by using the library catalogue or clicking on the "on campus" or "off campus" links below.

Please remember that copyright rules apply to online content as well as printed books. For further information about copyright and Safari’s terms of use please click here.
