Architecture and Spatial Design: DIGIMAP (registering/logging in)

DIGIMAP is a database subscribed to by the university library. It consists of Ordnance Survey mapping for United Kingdom. There are two parts, ROAM and ANCIENT ROAM.

You need to register or re-register before you can access this database. You need to register from within the university. Follow the instructions below. Please be aware that downloads must be on a PC on university Campus. You cannot download from home or elsewhere.

You need to use your university email to register with the .ac.uk suffix to recognise you as a London Metropolitan student.

Under no circumstances share your account as this will result in your individual privilege to access Digimap being withdrawn by the supplier, and jeopardise the entire university’s access.

You will need an IT account - the same login as you use to access the university network. If you don’t have your own IT account you need to contact IT Help Desk (Ground Floor Spring House) if you are a student, and ICT Help Desk (North Campus) on x4444 if you are staff.

If you have an IT account, you can login to the university network but you discover that for some reason you CANNOT log in to DIGIMAP (or the other databases) (this is highly unlikely if you are a student) then you need to email Daphne Chalk-Birdsall (d.chalk-birdsall@londonmet.ac.uk) with details of your user name and explain that you can’t log in to the university library databases.
