    All students are able to join the scheme, which allows access to some other higher education libraries in the United Kingdom.     The British Library reference collections on the humanities, sciences and social sciences, and medicine and related subjects are at the St Pancras Reading Rooms. The British Library at St Pancras is a research library and the Reading Rooms are for reference only. Students and researchers are normally asked to demonstrate specific research requirements before being allowed a Reader's Pass, which can be requested in person on arrival, or in advance by post.
