| What are Offprints? Offprints are photocopies of journal articles, chapters from books and 'missing pages' from items in the Library. Most Offprints are recommended reading for modules and courses, and these are likely to be specified in the reading list in your module handbook. Finding and Borrowing Offprints You can tell something is an Offprint by looking at its location. If, for example, it says ‘Calcutta House Offprints’ or ‘Holloway Road Offprints’ then you need to go to the counter in that library to ask for it. You can borrow up to four Offprints at a time as part of the Short Loan entitlement. Most Offprints are reference only and cannot be taken out of the library. However, at Calcutta House Library, Offprints can be borrowed in the same way as Short Loan items. |
