Chanel Generation Kill: Re-Interpreted & Re-Mastered

30 January - 17 February

An exhibition that addresses the widespread mania around fashion. Ava De La Flor challenges, pokes fun at and manipulates society's most dominant perceptions of precious items. She examines revered brands, fashion consumerism and consumption.

There is no other brand that matches & maintains the quintessential and high-end image quite like Chanel. The artist has chosen to re-interpret and re-expose Chanel in a superficially enlarged and fictionally exaggerated manner. She has switched the context of the brand from the everyday to the dangerous, with a marketing concept entitled “Chanel - Generation Kill (CGK)”
