Individual Access
|
Individual academic or specialist libraries may have policies that allow you to visit them for reference purposes, either during term-time or throughout the year. They may also let you borrow items if you become an external member, although this usually involves paying a fee. You are advised to check the individual access policies of higher education libraries. Please telephone the individual library in advance to confirm whether you are entitled to visit. When you visit, remember to take your London Metropolitan University ID card with you. Even if a library’s general policy does not offer you access, you may still be able to use that library under another scheme. Check the following schemes to see if you are eligible for registering: SCONUL Access or SCONUL Vacation Scheme. If you are a postgraduate student, and are not eligible to join any of these schemes, please talk to your Academic Liaison Librarian who may be able to help arrange access. |
