SCONUL Access (for borrowing) - Postgraduate Students
|
More than half the UK's higher education libraries belong to SCONUL Access. Please check individual library websites before visiting them for the first time as there may be certain times when you are not allowed access.
Check with each individual library how many items you are allowed to borrow. There may also be some types of library material which you are not allowed to borrow. |

| How to register: You need to complete an application form. Collect a form(s) from a London Metropolitan University Library Information Desk, or download the form from SCONUL Access. Check the website of any library you are going to, to see whether they need you to provide a passport photo for your borrowing card or any other additional information. Complete the form, then take it to an Information Desk for authorisation. Please note that you must be in good standing with the library (i.e. no outstanding books or charges). Take your SCONUL Access card, with your London Metropolitan University ID card and a passport photo (if required), to the library you want to visit. That library will issue a borrower card for you to use there. You can find all the information about the SCONUL Access scheme, including a printable list of member libraries, at SCONUL Access. |
