European University Association

The European University Association (EUA) is a membership organization for universities in 46 countries and helps to shape European higher education by representing its 800+ members interests. One of the services they offer to members is the chance to participate in their independent evaluation programme (IEP) which is an in depth visit conducted by teams of experienced European higher education leaders which aims to support participating institutions in the development of their strategic management and internal quality culture.

London Metropolitan University, as a member of the EUA, participated in the IEP in 2008 and received a favourable evaluation report (unlike the QAA no formal judgment is given). Thus far we are the only UK institution to undergo the evaluation.
