Technical Plans

Estates have digital drawings for the University's buildings in AutoCAD format. The plan is to make them available, on this web site, for viewing in PDF format and upon request if required in AutoCAD format.

To be able to view a PDF file you will need "Adobe Acrobat Reader" which should be available as part of all standard staff build computers in the university. However this software can be freely downloaded from www.adobe.com.

The request for AutoCAD format drawings may be made by Heads Of Department or Departmental Administration by contacting ask@londonmet.ac.uk.

Examples of the sort of information which may be requested for presentation on one plan are:

Rooms can be shaded different colours to indicate which departments occupy them.
Rooms can be shaded different colours to indicate space usage.
Linear dimensions.
Areas of rooms and floors.
