Personal Academic Advisers (PAAs)

Habib Rahman, Academic Leader

Personal Academic Advisers (PAAs) are academics who spend a significant portion of their time in advising and supporting undergraduate students to help them engage with and succeed in their studies.

Academic Faculties provide PAAs from their staff so that all their UG students have a named PAA, who is familiar with the subject area and who is accessible to the students.

PAAs work from Undergraduate Offices (UGOs) which are conveniently located for easy access to student. Students from faculties closest to an UGO are attached to that UGO. To see a list and contacts of PAAs by UGO click here or the tab on the right.

The PAA role is comprehensive and includes Module registration and approval.
