Module Info
This section gives details of the taught course modules.
Please note that the information is pertinent to the modules taught on-site at the University. Whilst the main body of information will be the same for off-site courses, some parts may differ (for instance tutor names, dates of teaching and hand-in dates).
Each module guidance link on the left contains information about the aims, learning outcomes, content and assessment procedures for each taught module. You will receive a hard copy of the module handbook from your tutor at the beginning of each module.
The links do not contain every detail of the taught course. Trainees will be further informed at the start of each module of the exact dates, times, rooms and content of each week's session. You should also check the homepage for any updates. In addition, bibliographies and school-based tasks may be altered and/or extended, as appropriate.
All participants should make themselves aware of the requirements of each module.
Each module also has school-based work - ideas for work in school that will link the work being done on the taught course to school and extend Trainees' knowledge, understanding and expertise. The Trainer-Mentor and Module Tutors will also have other requirements for this, which will be communicated separately by them.
