Professional Doctorates

Professional Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA)

 

The DBA is designed for those who already have sufficient business experience. In order to provide a contextual setting for their research, candidates must have the ability and opportunity to carry out detailed research activity in one or more organisations.

Doctor of Education (EdD)

A part-time programme with a strong focus on social justice and social inclusion. It is located within the research Institute for Policy Studies in Education.

Comparable to the PhD in terms of scale and rigour, it is aimed at busy professionals who want to undertake a substantial investigation into an area of current professional practice in education
