MA by Project

Located at the Sir John Cass School of Art Media and Design, the MA by Project aims to develop interests into a research project within a supportive context, drawing on expertise offered by the department

A self-directed scheme of study is supported by a programme of research skills training

Doctor of Education (EdD)

A part-time programme with a strong focus on social justice and social inclusion. It is located within the research Institute for Policy Studies in Education.

Comparable to the PhD in terms of scale and rigour, it is aimed at busy professionals who want to undertake a substantial investigation into an area of current professional practice in education

Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology

(CounsPsychD)

This course provides an integrated 3-year training in counselling psychology, leading to Chartered Status with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a doctoral level practitioner qualification.

Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology

 

This course provides a higher qualification at doctorate level for established practitioners in occupational psychology based on their current or past professional work. You are helped to plan and conduct conceptually sound and ethically acceptable research, within the scientist-practitioner framework

This is the first doctoral-level qualification in the UK which is specifically designed for professionals working in law enforcement and policing who wish to hone both their professional and research skills.

A part-time programme with a strong focus on European and international perspectives, social justice and social inclusion. It is located within the Department of Applied Social Sciences and provides the option to study for some modules at Zuyd University, Maastricht, in the Netherlands.
