A multi-disciplinary group with expertise in chemistry, phytochemistry, pharmacology, molecular biology and genetics focussed on strategic areas of analytical, diagnostic and therapeutic applications in biomedical science. Research themes include molecular genetics (obesity), metals in health (sensory f-block coordination complexes, systemic iron homeostasis), nanotechnology (electrospinning, nanotoxicology, novel lipid formulations), and novel therapeutic phytochemicals.
