Mathematical Images and Identities: Education, entertainment, social justice
-- Mathematical Images and Gender Identities
We asked GCSE students and university undergraduates for examples of mathematics in popular culture in both a survey and in focus groups. We then analysed a sample of these. On this page we have listed the huge range of examples people listed on the survey including websites, computer games, TV programmes, songs, films and books. Wherever possible we’ve added a link to a page with more information about it. You can also download all the comments from the survey and the focus groups and the framework we used to analyse the texts.
