Brief description: A survey of nine urban parks and opens spaces in the London Borough of Islington. The study uses similar profiling and attitudinal user research to that employed in the Royal Parks studies (see above), but supplements it with household surveys of non-park users in the borough. Jubilee Line Extension-Visitor Activity Study

Brief description: This longitudinal research study was designed to provide the basis for measuring the impact of London Underground’s Jubilee Line Extension on tourist and visitor activity. The Visitor Activity Study arising from the research combined a primary survey of visitor attractions and hotels combined with a secondary analysis of tourist and transport data sets. A baseline position has been established and a subsequent study will assess the impact of the extension by measuring the change in visitor numbers and activities one year after the line opening.
