Institute for Health Research and Policy

Welcome to the Institute for Health Research and Policy web site. The Institute was created shortly after the formation of the new university, London Metropolitan University, in 2003. London Metropolitan University was created on 1 August 2002 by the merger of London Guildhall University and the University of North London. • make a significant positive difference to the health of international and local communities by influencing public health policy
  • work with industry and other partners to develop health-related products with commercial potential
  • create opportunities for staff and postgraduate students to undertake research that will enhance public awareness and publication of results
