A conversation with Sir Aubrey Rose, 23rd March 2006

Following the publication of his autobiography 'The Rainbow Never Ends' and led by Prof Bill Bowring, HRSJ hosted a conversation with the renowned human rights lawyer and inter-faith leader Sir Aubrey Rose.

The real story behind the massacre in Rwanda and the silent genocide in DR Congo, 28th April 2006

Jean-Roger Kaseki, a human rights campaigner born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but now settled in the United Kingdom, has campaigned on human rights in the DR Congo (former Zaire) following mass violations of fundamental human rights there for many decades.

When he was living in the DR Congo, he led campaigns, conferences, publications and meetings, which denounced the various human rights violations committed by the then Congolese Government. Since moving to the UK, he has sought to keep human rights in the DR Congo high on the agenda of the British Government and the world community.

This presentation highlights the historical conflicts which contributed to the massacre in Rwanda and the continuing human rights violations in DR Congo.
