Make a Donation Today

Thank you for your interest in the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC). We rely on donations from our supporters to help us with our essential work. If you would like to make a donation, please fill out the form provided here and send it to us with the donation.

Your donation could help us:

  • Provide representation for individuals in applications to the European Court of Human Rights
  • Run an administrative and advice structure in London, based at London Metropolitan University, with support of barristers of the former Soviet Union (FSU) group of the Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales and other human rights experts
  • Facilitate pro bono work by the UK and European lawyers to assist NGOs and lawyers in advising applicants, drafting submissions and providing representation at Strasbourg and at in-country fact-finding hearings of the European Court of Human Rights
  • Provide intensive and on-going training to lawyers and NGOs from Moscow and the Russian regions in the law, practice and procedure of the European Court of Human Rights; focusing on “training the trainers” in order for the results to cascade down through the federation
  • Provide a legal Consultant each year for a period of three months in Russia; to give day to day training in drafting court pleadings
  • Bring Russian lawyers to the UK, on internships, to gain insight into the experience and best practice approaches of leading UK lawyers and NGOs in human rights litigation at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, the UN Human Rights Committee and other international tribunals
  • Create and disseminate high quality training materials for the use of lawyers and NGOs across Russia (in edition of 5,000 copies).
  • Maintain a set of web pages in Russian and English to highlight the work of EHRAC and make available the training materials to the widest possible audience.

Many thanks for your generous support.
