Joint NGO comments on proposed changes to application procedures to the European Court
In November 2007 EHRAC was a signatory to a joint NGO letter submitted to Judge Jean-Paul Costa, the President of the European Court of Human Rights. This letter expressed concern at a proposal made by the Group of Wise Persons that all applicants to the Court must submit their application to the Court on the Court’s own application form and within the six months deadline. The letter argues that this would endanger the right of individual petition of certain categories of potential applicants.
