Human Rights and Social Justice: Linking Aspirations and Realities
This seminar series aims to explore the inter-relationships between human rights and social justice, from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The speakers include academics from a range of disciplines and representatives of civil society, public bodies and UN experts.
The format of each seminar (with a speaker, responder and questions/comment from the floor) is intended to facilitate a real opportunity to exchange ideas (inter-disciplinary, inter-sector and inter-agency). The seminars will be followed by a reception, allowing further informal discussion and networking.
Attendance is free of charge, but registration is required as places are strictly limited. To register email
hrsj@londonmet.ac.uk giving your name, organisation affiliation and contact email address.
The seminars start at 6.15pm at London Metropolitan University, 166-220 Holloway Rd, London N7 8DB. Nearest tube station: Holloway Road. The series is also accredited for Continued Professional Development (CPD).
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the
Law Society for their continued support.
