RAGU Courses
|
Our training programmes are specifically aimed at building on students' past experiences and helping them to identify and develop the necessary skills for entry into relevant employment, higher education or further training. Entry to courses is determined by initial language assessment and interview at our pre-course Information and Assessment days. All training provision is free of charge and travel expenses are paid for most courses. Contribution to childcare costs may be available for students attending courses. Our two current courses the Graduate Certificate in Educational Support and From Supplementary School to Mainstream Education focuses training for refugees with experience and skills in education. RAGU has 13 years experience developing and delivering Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) for refugee professionals. Although this course is no longer delivered as a discreet training, the principles of APEL and reflective learning are embedded in all our courses
