MA Architecture and Digital Design Systems

Wetgrid

Master of Architecture & Digital Design Systems (MA ADDS) is a design and thesis based course exploring digital design and fabrication techniques. It engages with design based research drawing as a vast resource in digital design and production techniques, ranging from modeling to high end simulation and fabrication; however we consider the material output as the gauge of the success of the project outcome. MA ADDS actively teaches workshop based computational design & fabrication techniques with the objective nurture and develop design talent.

We aim for a more contextual and integrated mode of design, in which the rationality sought for in the industry, is forged by the analytical and procedural experimentation afforded by largely speculative projects. In collaboration with industry, we intend to make the apparently complex simple and buildable.
