Test Cups by Isabel Farchy

A series of coat hooks and handles, each of them different. Made from Jesmonite, mixed with metal powders.

These objects are ambiguous: using Jesmonite means the forms pick up all the sketchy detail of the casting process; they also have a metallic sheen. The patinated finish means Test Cups will buff and polish with use and over time.

Isabel Farchy is an English-Italian furniture designer and maker based in London.
