Dr Ron Cambridge (DBA, UTF, SFHEA, MEd, MSc, BA) is the Head of Partnerships at the Guildhall School of Business and Law, overseeing the School’s national and international partnerships, including the negotiation, development, validation and the smooth running of the
franchised and validated courses with the school’s collaborative partnerships, in over a dozen of countries, including Australia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Dubai, Germany, Greece,
Indonesia, Ireland, North Macedonia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland,
Thailand, UK and Online. As an inspiring leader, Ron has always focused on strategic planning, staff motivation and inclusion, and the wellbeing of staff and students.

Ron is an experienced academic, a Senior Fellow of Advance Higher Education (formally Higher Education Academy) and a University Teaching Fellow, holding roles as a Principal Lecturer, Course Leader (achieving 100% NSS result), Module Leader and Personal Tutor and Adviser, focusing on pedagogy, employability, diversity, equality, inclusion, sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Ron is also an active external examiner and an external panel member with other UK universities.

Ron graduated with first class honours and was awarded the national medal of the Institute of Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) award. After graduation Ron worked as the Head of Finance for the Institute of the Legal Accounts. She has developed her academic career after graduating the Financial Services Management MSc and her academic interests were further enriched by her Master of Education: Policy, Research and Professional Practice. A fresh multidisciplinary academic talent, she worked closely with State Street Bank and the Adab Trust to develop students’ employability skills and advance social justice. Her doctorate research in Business Administration examines a corporate social responsibility (CSR) vision in a modern London university. Ron was also an endorser of the international Sustainable Entrepreneurship Award (SEA). Her focus is on management ideas such as culture, human capital, international organisational management as well as affect theories and social justice.

It is through her research and her role as Personal Academic Adviser (PAA) that Ron has developed a less linear acceptance of both management concepts and social theories. She has also developed a strong interest in student affairs, social justice, widening participation and corporate social responsibility in higher education. Ron participates in many conferences as well as advising and lecturing in other universities in the UK and internationally.
