Ian Teague  

Ian Teague is a Theatre Designer. He has designed over 140 productions for a wide range of companies including Everyman Theatre Cheltenham, Action Transport, Everyman Liverpool, 7:84, Dukes Theatre Lancaster, Torch Theatre Milford Haven, Durham Theatre Company, Forest Forge, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Theatre Venture and Nuffield Theatre Southampton. 

His main interests are devised theatre, designing for new writing and young peoples theatre. 

Projects include Romeo and Juliet - National Theatre Education Department, Pretend Families - Spare Tyre, Up Out O’ The Sea  - Eastern Angles, Or am I Alone - Cardboard Citizens, The Farm -New Perspectives, Peter Pan – Polka Theatre, Mrs Beatons History of The World – Oxfordshire Touring and The Woman Who Cooked - Make Believe Arts. 

In 2003, his designs for small cast productions of Shakespeare formed part of the British entry at the Prague Quadrennial Exhibition of Scenography which won the prestigious Golden Triga award for best overall exhibit. 

In 2008, his work was included in the exhibition Collaborators at The Victoria and Albert Museum. 

A member of the managing committee of The Society Of British Theatre Designers and The Equity Designers Committee.
