Heidi Yeo established a successful international jewellery practice working with such clients as Guggenheim Museum NY, MoMA San Francisco, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The Royal Academy, Aquascutum and Selfridges in London. She exhibited her work in museums and independent galleries worldwide prior to developing her practice within the public art arena of architectural metalwork. She undertook an MA in Architectural History, Theory and Interpretation to support research and development of her thinking in this area. Her current interests lie in exploring parallel territories of architecture and jewellery, working towards outcomes that privilege human experience in the context of the built environment. She also has a developing interest in collaborative and community led applied arts projects. Heidi has examined undergraduate course provision across a number of UK Universities and 3D disciplines and is called on for representation within the applied arts by such institutions as The Crafts Council, Creative and Cultural Skills Council and the Association for Contemporary Jewellery.
