Deej Fabyc

Deej Fabyc is British artist with Australian citizenship, who has a Master of Fine Arts from the internationally top-ranked University of New South Wales' Art and Design School.

She has exhibited all over the world for many years at venues including the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, El Museo Del Barrio in New York, Art Omi in upstate New York, The National Gallery of Australia, Bergan Kunsthall Norway,the ICA and the Whitechapel Gallery here in London. 

Working in performance art, installation video and sculpture, her practice also includes curating, one project of which is the Elastic Residence gallery.

Deej curates the Elastic Residence gallery in London and is a key figure in KISSS (The Kinship International Strategy on Surveillance and Suppression), an international curatorium of artists working with issues of surveillance. Deej has taught at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, as well as UW Newport and University of Hertfordshire.

At the School of Art, Architecture and Design, Deej teaches mixed media (video, film and performance).
