Brian Jarman started his journalism career as a news reporter on an evening paper, The South Wales Argus, before going on to become a chief feature writer, book editor and theatre critic.

Brian Jarman started his journalism career as a news reporter on an evening paper, The South Wales Argus, going on to become Chief Feature Writer, Book Editor and Theatre Critic. He moved to the BBC to produce and report for the breakfast show on Radio Wales before moving to BBC World Service where he was producer and editor of current affairs, travelling to countries all over the globe. 

He helped set up Radio 5 Live and was Managing Editor of the award-winning The World programme for public radio in the USA. 

He now writes novels as well as journalism. He has been lecturing at London Metropolitan University for six years.
