The MSc Security Intelligence Management offers a unique opportunity for those who wish to engage in critical or evaluative research in this area or to develop professional skills in the management of security and intelligence resources. A distinctive feature of the course is the opportunity it offers to explore links between intelligence gathering or security provision and the impact of this and the wider role of risk management philosophies upon policing and the criminal justice system. It is likely to be of interest to graduates in criminology, social science, law, politics, or computer science as well as professionals within the policing, military and criminal justice fields or in wider areas related to security and intelligence - such as private security and intelligence, retail and financial security or risk management within the local community.
