Student profiles

What students say about our course

"I have always been interested in human rights and social justice as a philosophy undergraduate. Human rights and social justice MA program at London met teaches theory and practice of human rights in relation to justice and society. Such kind of special focus is rare among the human right MA programs. This was the main aspect of the program that attracted me from the outset.

One year of MA study, in human rights and social justice, has changed my life. During this one year, apart from learning the theory and practice of human rights, I have also learned to how to conduct research and write high quality academic articles. This has helped me to win to scholarships for my PhD study in London met. Besides these academic benefits, one year MA in human rights and social justice helped me to meet people and share my previous experiences with people from all around the world. I would never meet and become friends with people having such variety of backgrounds, without my MA in human rights and social justice.

I would strongly recommend studying MA in human rights and social justice to people interested in learning the history, theory, and practice of human rights, justice and political thought. I would also recommend this program to people, who are interested in meeting with people from different backgrounds."
